“Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” premiered in 1993 on Fox Kids. Frank played Tommy Oliver from 1993 to 1995 in a “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” original. He started as “Green Ranger” which last for only 14 episodes. But in such a small period he got lots of popularity and as a result, return back to the screen as a “White Ranger” for the remaining whole series.
Frank went on to accept roles in other the “Power Rangers” franchise reprising his role as Tommy over the years for spinoffs including “Wild Force,” “Turbo,” “Zeo,” “Dino Thunder,” “Megaforce” and more. Throughout the franchise, he also starred as Red Zeo Ranger and Black Ranger.

Frank was born in Covina, California on September 4, 1973. A practitioner of martial arts, Frank fought in several mixed martial arts bouts in 2009 and 2010. Frank’s legacy remains embedded in the World Karate Union Hall of Fame and the Black Belt Hall of Fame. Frank’s acrobatic abilities were no thanks to movie magic; the acclaimed actor was also an eighth-degree black belt in karate and possessed experience with various other styles of martial arts, including Taekwondo, Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai.

Frank is survived by four children; one from his marriage with Tammie Frank and three from his first marriage to Shawna Frank.
Walter Jones, who played the “Black Ranger” in ‘MMPR,’ tells TMZ … “He was an inspiration to so many people. His presence will be dearly missed. It’s so sad to lose another member of our Ranger family.” He adds, “Jason was one of the biggest pranksters on the show. He had a wild sense of humour. We had our share of ups and downs but I stayed consistent about being an ear if he needed one. My prayers go out to his family and all that will miss him.”
