Wakanda Forever is a 2022 American superhero film based on Marvel Comics’ Black Panther character. It is the sequel to Black Panther (2018). It’s the 30th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures (MCU). It is the fourth and final instalment of the MCU’s Phase Four. 

Chadwick Boseman cast as a lead actor in Black Panther (2018). He played T’Challa, the king of the secretive and technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda, as well as the Black Panther, a powerful warrior. He, unfortunately, died from colon cancer in August 2020. To provide him tribute, Marvel decided not to recast his role as T’Challa.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Release Date

After the release of Black Panther in February 2018, ideas for a sequel began to emerge. On October 26, 2022, Wakanda Forever premiered at the El Capitan Theatre and the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. It will release worldwide on November 9, 2022, and in the United States on November 11.

Wakanda Forever Story Summary

The story begins after the revelation of King T’Challa’s death. Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Baku, Okoye, and the Dora Milaje fight to protect their country from intervening world powers. As the Wakandans overcome the loss of their king, the heroes must join forces with Nakia and Everett Ross for the protection and the future of their beloved kingdom.

Box Office Prediction

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is expected to gross $175 million in its first weekend in North America. The film’s opening weekend in North America is expected to be between $180 and $210 million, with a total domestic gross of $445-555 million.
