Coin Master Link Not Working? 7 Real Fixes
Last updated: · Written by Peter Hayes
A Coin Master free spin link fails for one of seven reasons: it is expired (older than 3 days), you already claimed it, you clicked it on the wrong device, the app is not installed, iOS blocked the redirect, Moon Active had a brief outage, or the link was never a real Moon Active link to begin with. Each has a specific fix below.
TL;DR
- Expired → links die after ~3 days. Get a fresh one from today's links.
- Already claimed → one redemption per account, no re-runs.
- Wrong device → must be the phone with Coin Master installed.
- iPhone silent failure → tap the "Open" button manually.
- Fake link → only trust URLs starting with
coin-master.meorrewards.coinmaster.com.
Fix 1 — The link is expired
This is by far the most common reason. Moon Active sets a 72-hour (approximately) expiry on every reward URL. After that, the server returns an empty response or a generic "reward not available" page. There is no trick to extend this. If you found the link in an old tweet, a WhatsApp forward from a friend, or a blog post from last week, it is almost certainly dead.
Fix: Grab a fresh link from today's links. Our scraper pulls new ones every 15 minutes, so the ones listed under "Today" are always within the valid window.
Fix 2 — You already redeemed it
Each link is a one-shot per Coin Master account. If you clicked it yesterday and it worked, clicking it again today will do absolutely nothing. The server remembers. No animation, no error — just silence. Players often think the link is broken when they are actually the problem.
Fix: Check your Coin Master balance before and after. If it is unchanged, and you remember the link from a previous day, skip it. Moon Active has no "re-claim" feature.
Fix 3 — You clicked the link on a PC or wrong phone
Coin Master is a mobile-only game. A free spin link is essentially a deep-link URL that tells your phone "open this in the Coin Master app". If you click it on a laptop, the URL just loads a nearly-empty web page because there is no app to redirect into. The same thing happens if you click it on a phone that does not have Coin Master installed — or has Coin Master but is logged into a different account.
Fix: Open the daily links page directly on the phone where you play Coin Master. Do not text, email, or DM the link to yourself — click it in place.
Fix 4 — iOS Safari blocked the app redirect
iPhones have a security feature that sometimes refuses to auto-redirect from Safari into an installed app. Instead, Safari loads a mostly-blank page with a small "Open in Coin Master" button that you have to tap manually. If you assume the link is broken and close the browser before tapping that button, you lose the reward.
Fix: On iPhone, wait a full 3–5 seconds after the page loads. Look for an "Open" button or a banner at the top of the page. Tap it. The redirect will then work normally.
Fix 5 — The Coin Master app is not up to date
Occasionally Moon Active changes the way reward URLs are handled in the background, and older versions of the app fail to parse the new format. This is rare, but if you have not updated the game in months, it is worth checking.
Fix: Open the App Store or Google Play, search for Coin Master, and tap Update if an update is available. Then try the link again.
Fix 6 — Moon Active's reward server hiccupped
Moon Active's reward service does sometimes go down for a few minutes at a time, especially during big events like Viking Quest when traffic spikes. Links released during an outage window may fail to credit properly even if they are technically valid.
Fix: Wait 10–15 minutes and try again. If a fresh link also fails to credit and you are using the correct phone, the issue is almost certainly on Moon Active's end.
Fix 7 — The link was never real to begin with
There is a thriving ecosystem of sketchy "free spin generator" sites that post fake links, often alongside human-verification pop-ups or app installs. These links have never worked, will never work, and are the main reason new players get discouraged from link-based rewards. A real Moon Active link is easy to recognise:
- It starts with
https://coin-master.me/orhttps://rewards.coinmaster.com/. - It never asks you to log in, install a second app, complete a survey, or download an APK.
- It never asks for your Facebook password.
If a link does not match this pattern, it is not a real Coin Master reward link. Full stop. Read our link safety guide for the details.
How often do links actually fail?
From the links we have tracked since early 2025, the failure rate for legitimate Moon Active links is under 2% — and virtually every one of those failures falls into the "user error" bucket above (wrong device, expired, already claimed). If you ever see a link fail on LiveInfoNews that you have not already redeemed and that is listed under "Today", email us at [email protected] and we will investigate.
FAQ
- Why is my Coin Master link not working even though it says it is for today?
- Check the redemption device first. If the link is listed as today's on LiveInfoNews and you are on the right phone, try force-closing Coin Master and retrying — the app sometimes holds a stale auth token.
- Do Coin Master links expire at midnight?
- No. Expiry is based on the release time of each individual link, not a calendar day. A link released at 11pm stays live until about 11pm three days later.
- Why does nothing happen when I click?
- Most likely the redirect from browser to app was blocked. On iPhones, look for an "Open in Coin Master" button. On Android, open Chrome settings and make sure "Open external links in app" is enabled.
- Can I try the same link on a second device?
- Only if the second device is logged into a different Coin Master account. Same account = same one-time redemption limit.
